Judging: Judging will take place by a panel of student volunteers involved in the It’s On Us campaign from Wednesday April 5th to Friday April 7th. Decisions will be announced Friday at 4PM and previewed on the It’s On Us SU facebook page

Why Teal?: Teal signifies awareness of sexual violence. April is Sexual Violence Awareness Month and the Office of Health Promotion will be promoting and holding events on campus throughout the month to bring more awareness to the issue. The It’s On Us campaign recognizes that being a prosocial bystander is important when it comes to sexual violence and that bystanders play a powerful role in keeping our campus community a safer space. Statistically speaking 1 in 5 women and 1 in 16 men will be sexually assaulted by the time they graduate college and people of marginalized identity groups are impacted by sexual violence at greater rates such as women of color, trans or non-binary people, people with disabilities, immigrants, refugees and more.  Sexual violence is a prevalent and important issue to be discussing on a college campus, by decorating spaces teal we can show our support to those whom are impacted by sexual violence or other forms of interpersonal violence.
