Frisky February

This month-long initiative will be raising awareness and knowledge about different aspects of sexual health. As defined by the World Health Organization, "Sexual health is a state of physical, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality. It requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence." Educational and awareness events will take place in February in partnership with student organizations, Syracuse University offices and departments, community partners and The Office of Health Promotion Peer Educators Encouraging Healthy Relationships & Sexuality (PEEHRS).

Submit an Event for the 2019 Calendar:

Offices, departments and student organizations are invited to submit events for the 2019 Frisky February Calendar. Please note that all events will be screened by the Awareness Month Planning committee and must be approved before being printed on the calendar. In order to have your event listed on the 2018 schedule please submit all event requests by 11:59pm on Sunday January 20th 2019.
